Saturday 28th October
Flat water River Medway to watch the Hop Farm firework display.
Meet at Yalding at 5pm. Hampstead Lane, Yalding nr Maidstone ME18 6HG.Weather permitting, and could be cancelled at short notice if deemed unsafe.
The plan is to paddle up to sluice weir and have hotdogs and soup and then watch the display at 8pm.
Boat & Equipment:
Usual boat use charges apply. We suggest head torches and glow sticks to illuminate your boat. All boats require to display a white bow light.
Please ensure you wear or bring plenty of warm clothing including hat or helmet.
There will be a charge of £3 to cover food. If you require a boat or equipment the usual hire cost of £5 will still apply.
Due to the nature of the trip, U14s only in open boats with a parent or guardian. U18s at trip organisers discretion.
You must be of a 2 star standard to paddle.
We will operate a buddy system to ensure a safe and fun trip.
There are toilets and showers at Yalding which cost £1.
Anyone requiring any club kit should contact the trip organiser or another member of the committee.
The Trip Organiser and/or Lead Coach have the final say.
The club recommends that all boats are fitted with rear air bags, this is to assist with safety for all on the water.

You will need to setup an account on the website the first time you book an event, you’ll get the chance to setup an account after you proceed from the basket.
This will be your booking for the event, you’ll receive via email a receipt for the purchase and after successful payment you’ll receive a ticket, please use this as proof of your place on the course, print it and bring it with you on the trip.
