Youth and Adult – Nene White Water Centre

Suitable for all youth members with some paddling experience and all club members who would like to come along!  Minibus transportation will also be available with priority for youth members to travel to the Nene Valley.

The Plan:

1130 – Meet at the Den for Kit Collection and to meet the minibus

1200 – Depart the Den

1400 – Arrive at Nene Valley White Water Centre – picnic lunch

1445 – Flat water paddle on the river Nene

1630 – Briefing for the White Water course

1700 – White water paddling

1900 – Everyone off the course

2000 – Depart for London

2230 – Arrive at the Den for kit and minibus drop off

Unlike previous club trips, this event requires you to book and pay for your space using a debit / credit card on the EventBrite system.

Please ensure you have the following items:

• Warm clothing for both on and off the water
• Towel and change of clothing
• Paddling kit (which can be hired from the club)
• Suitable boat, paddle, helmet and spray deck (which can be hired for the club)
• Packed lunch, snacks and drinks for the day
